Bill Perry's philanthropy album is called Mother Universe and All Her Children. Perry has coined it his "visual concept album", which is a short film (36 minutes) that combines Perry's new music with images of space and various celestial events. The album is divided into five (5) musical movements: Divine Whole Note (Alpha), Dancing Lights and Swirling Chaos (Beta), Infinite Nuances (Gamma), Life (Delta), and Oblivion (Omega). There have been viewings of this short film at Proud Larry's and The Powerhouse, both in Oxford, MS. The proceeds from these viewings have been donated to "Piano Discoveries", a music education camp held every summer on the campus of the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss) instructed by Dr. Ian Hominick and Stacy Rodgers. The viewing at The Powerhouse featured interpretive dance by his wife JoLynn Perry. Mother Universe was also showcased in Clarksdale, MS at the Crossroad Cultural Arts Center where he raised money for music scholarship programs for the youth in that area. Perry also completed his recent Modern Day Musician installment called "Hybrid". It's his 6th chapter in this series of music essays that express Perry's music philosophy about the current state of modern day musicians.
